Predictions for Saturday's College Football games

I hope everybody's Thanksgiving went well this year, with plenty of turkey and stuffing to go along!

Without further ado, here we go. with some of the biggest games this week.

This week's slate features a few games that will be exciting to watch.
Let's start in the SEC, with arguably the biggest game of the entire season, for both Alabama and Auburn. Auburn has had a quick turnaround under Gus Malzahn while Alabama looks to win its fourth National Championship under Nick Saban, in a five-year span.

I figure this to be an offensive shootout, and for Auburn to pull the stunner, vaulting the Tigers to play for the SEC Championship.

Prediction: 4) Auburn 44, 1) Alabama 41

That leads me to the next big SEC game, this featuring the Missouri Tigers, who have had their own quick turnaround after going 5-7 in their first year in the SEC, with a chance to play for the conference championship if they can take care of business. This team is loaded, especially on defense and has forced a turnover in over 35 straight games. I wonder if that is on Johnny Manziel's mind, as he torched the Tigers last year on his way to the Heisman trophy. Texas A&M has been a little disappointing, especially on defense. I had high expectations of them going into the season. But they have an opportunity to win at least 10 games for the second straight season, if they can pull off the stunner like South Carolina did in Columbia.

Prediction: 5) Missouri 44, 21) Texas A&M 28

Here I discuss a third game involving an SEC team against a ranked opponent with conference implications on the line, pitting Tajh Boyd and sixth-ranked Clemson taking on a South Carolina squad looking to win at least 10 games for the third straight season. South Carolina, like Missouri, can get a shot to play for the conference championship if it can take care of business. However, for the Gamecocks, they need Johnny Manziel to work his Heisman magic from a year ago to get South Carolina into the SEC Championship. South Carolina has also the last three meetings with their out of conference, but in-state, rivals, and has the Williams-Brice crowd of 81,000+ behind them. Expect a competitive game, with plenty on the line for both teams.

Prediction: 10) South Carolina 31, 6) Clemson 24

Last, but not least, it's time for "The Game". Well, not until noon on November 30. We have the 110th meeting between two hated rivals, the Michigan Wolverines, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes enter Ann Arbor in the biggest house, for their biggest game, of the season. This looks like a cakewalk, since Michigan is reeling, having lost four of its last six games after a 5-0 start. But OSU is not overlooking Michigan. Carlos Hyde said, "I expect That team up North to give its best shot", which I think Michigan will give their best shot.
This is a chance for both teams, each with something to play for, to accomplish something special.
For Michigan, it's pride and to knock their rivals out of the national championship picture. Meanwhile for Ohio State, they want to have the opportunity to still play for the crystal ball while playing for the Big Ten, but first things first, they have to get by the Wolverines. The Wolverines are tough at home, losing just once in Ann Arbor under the Hoke regime, but the buckeyes have a 23-game winning streak to back their case as one of the best teams in the country. Something has got to give. It is going to be a dogfight until the clock winds to triple-zeros.

Prediction: 3) Ohio State 27, Michigan 20
